Welcome to the Bel Air Elementary School Technology Page.

Bel Air has become a "center for technology" by our own standards. We have made it one of our missions to equip our students to be lifelong, GLOBAL students that are prepared for jobs of tomorrow. As of the 2020-2021 school year, we offer 1:1 (device to student) in ALL grades.

We offer many different technology programs in addition to our 1:1 program:

1. First Lego League Program for Robotics. This is an after-school club that students are taught to build, code and program their robots to complete pre-determined tasks. Check out our Robotics page for more information.

2. VA Star School. This is also an after school club that students are taught how to refurbish older computer. They clean, rebuild and reprogram the machines from top to bottom. The computers are then offered to families that may be in need of an internet capable computer for their homes.

3. SWAT Team (Students Working to Advance Technology) - this club works to train students in many technology skills. We work on computer building, digital photography, coding, programming, streaming and game/code writing. The students are given a task and pretty much asked to run with it. They problem solve independently and with a team. You can check out our SWAT Team page too.
